  1. First of all add chilli powder, turmeric, ginger garlic paste and salt to the rice and mix well. Keep aside. Heat oil. Add mustard seeds and curry leaves..
  2. After they crackle, add the dry red chillies and onions. After sauteeing for 2 minutes, add chana dal and the peanuts..
  3. Once they are done, add the thick tamarind paste or water. Simmer on a medium flame until the raw smell goes. Now toss in the rice and give it a good mix..
  4. Make an omelette with the eggs and cut into bite size strips. Garnish with roasted cashews, coriander and egg strips..
